The Descent Returns To Radio K for Powersurge!
The Locust Lecture is proud to announce that the Descent Triad will be triumphantly returning to the airwaves for a one-night-only cameo "appearance" on Saturday, April 16th at 7:00 P.M. (CST) For those not in the know, the Descent was Radio K's long-running goth/electro/darkwave/industrial show during the lion's share of the 90's and early 00's. Since the demise of the show, the Triad has been keeping themselves busy with the bands Dissociate & Space Bar as well as Djing darksider dance nights around town such as St. Paul's Electro-Tank.
The Descent will also be "matching watts" for the Locust Lecture's "Powersurge Edition." Power Surge is Radio K's bi-annual fundraising drive, which constitutes a significant portion of the non-profit KUOM's budget. The Locust Lecture & The Descent both heartily encourage listeners to purchase a fictional "share" of our radio station as a tangible show of support for the only weekly radio show in the Twin Cities area specifically devoted entirely to goth, electro, darkwave, industrial and heavy metal music.
